Oris Big Crown Pointer Date 01-754-7785-4068-Set is a men's mechanical watch inspired by the traditional pilot-style design that has characterized the Big Crown collection since 1938. The case with a diameter of 40 mm is made of stainless steel and features the characteristic oversized crown for easy handling. The watch stands out with a gradient dial in shades of orange to copper, which together with Arabic numerals and luminous hands ensures excellent readability even in low-light conditions.
Inside the watch beats the automatic mechanical movement Oris 754-1, based on the Sellita SW200-1 calibre. It operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour, offers a power reserve of approximately 41 hours, and features the signature Pointer Date function, where a central hand indicates the date around the dial. The dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, providing high resistance to scratches.
The model was created in collaboration with the Swiss brand Cervo Volante, known for accessories made from sustainably sourced deer leather. The watch is therefore equipped with a mahogany brown deer leather strap, offering both comfort and a natural look. With water resistance of 5 ATM / 50 m, a reliable mechanical movement and timeless design, it is suitable for everyday wear as well as elegant occasions.
