The Vanguard Mariner collection blends Franck Muller’s watchmaking with navigational and compass-based motifs, resulting in a technically refined and light-oriented visual identity. In the V 45 YT SC DT MAR (AC) configuration, the focus lies on a silver guilloché dial with a stylised compass rose, complemented by applied blue numerals that enhance clarity and sophistication.
The case is crafted from polished stainless steel, with steel lateral inserts and a curved sapphire crystal that emphasizes the proportions of the dial. A white alligator leather strap with blue stitching reinforces the navigational colour palette and maintains a more elegant character compared to the sportier Yachting line. The aesthetic bridges precision, mapping cues and understated luxury.
Inside works the automatic calibre MVT 2536-SCDT with a 42-hour power reserve, displaying hours, minutes, seconds and a date at 6 o’clock. Movement decoration includes Côtes de Genève, perlage, diamond polishing and sun brushing, underscoring haute horlogerie standards. With 30-meter water resistance and a folding steel clasp, the Vanguard Mariner represents a contemporary interpretation of technical elegance with a nautical spirit.
