The Franck Muller Cintrée Curvex Perpetual Calendar Chronograph represents a pinnacle interpretation of the maison’s iconic tonneau silhouette, uniting two of haute horlogerie’s most revered complications. The harmonious display of perpetual calendar, moon phase and chronograph indications is enhanced by architectural dial symmetry and refined sun guilloché finishing.
The 18K rose gold (5N) case measuring 36 × 50 × 15.1 mm is paired with sapphire crystal, an alligator strap and multi-layer lacquer (18 layers) that enrich the dial’s depth and luminosity. Subdials articulate day, month, leap year cycle, date, moon phase and chronograph functions, while 10 m water resistance preserves the proportions and elegance of a grande complication.
Inside beats the automatic FM 1950 (QD/CC) caliber with a 58-hour power reserve, 375 components, column-wheel construction and extensive finishing work including Côtes de Genève, perlage, snailling, sun brushing, bevelling and diamond polishing. Cintrée Curvex 9880 CC QP B embodies a contemporary expression of architectural design and traditional horological complexity.
