About ring sizes

Guide to sizes

Ring size is the circumference in millimetres. Therefore, a size 52.0 means that the ring has an inner circumference of 52 mm. Different countries give ring sizes in different values, see the international size chart. There are several ways to find out the correct ring size even secretly. Below are some of them.

Personal measurement by a professional

It is best to have your size measured directly in a jewellery shop using special measuring rings. This way you will find out exactly what size you need.

Measurement of the current fitting ring

  • At the jewellery shop, a specialist will measure your ring using a 'mandrel' to find out the exact size.
  • If you can only borrow the ring 'secretly' for a short time, measure the inner diameter with a ruler or print out our size chart and place the ring in the correct circle according to the instructions.

Measuring without a fitting ring

Prepare a sliding scale ('slide') and measure the thickness of your finger with it. You have just found the diameter of your future ring.

  • Take a string and wrap it around your finger. Then attach the measured length of string to the ruler. Now you know the circumference of the ring - EU size.
  • The Multisizer is a plastic device for measuring the circumference of the finger, so it is designed to determine the size of the ring.

Instructions for use

Thread the end of the band through the clasp to create a ring to put on your finger. Tighten it on your finger so that it fits comfortably and can also be removed. The display section will then read your size - the circumference of your finger in mm. When measuring, keep in mind the knuckle over which the ring needs to be pulled. In practice, we have found it useful to measure the finger tightly at the joint. If you want to buy a wider ring (8 mm or more), choose a size one size larger than the one you measured (instead of size 52, choose size 53).

Additional ring size adjustment

For most rings, there is almost no problem with adjusting the sizes. Of course, there are some models where this adjustment is very difficult to almost impossible. But even in non-standard situations we are able to solve the problem to the satisfaction of our customers.
